Painted Art Quilt with Diane Cadrain

Over four Wednesdays at Five Points Arts Center, learn to transform plain white cotton into a painted art quilt inspired by your chosen landscape photo. Diane Cadrain guides you through fabric preparation, sketching, painting, layering batting and backing, and stitching contour lines. Participants should have access to a sewing machine for free motion quilting to complete the project at home. This workshop is ideal for adults interested in combining painting and quilting techniques.
