Painted Art Quilt with Diane Cadrain

This multi-session workshop at Five Points Arts Center teaches how to transform plain white cotton into a painted art quilt ready for framing. Over four Wednesdays, participants aged 18+ work from a landscape photo to prepare fabric, sketch, paint, layer batting and backing, and stitch contour lines. Familiarity with a sewing machine set for free motion quilting is needed, as sewing is completed at home. It’s a creative blend of painting and textile art in a relaxed setting.
