Wonderland After Dark: Hoop Dance Workshop

The Cheshire’s Groove at The Juke. This 21+ experience blends beginner-friendly hoop tricks, dance flow, games, and creative movement inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Hoop dance is a fun, low impact, total body workout — and ANYONE can do it! All you need is the correct size hoop and a little motivation. Not to mention, you can burn up to 7 calories per minute while hooping. We’ll focus on a mix of hoop dance and freestyle movement while learning foundational tricks, transitions, waist hooping, arm tricks, off-body flow, turns, and themed combinations like the Cheshire Cat Orbit, Mad Hatter Toss, and Queen’s Crown. You’ll be amazed at what you can do with the right sized hoop and a professional instructor Kailey by your side.

Perfect for beginners and experienced hoopers alike. Professional hoops provided or BYOH (bring your own hoop). No experience needed. Come dressed in your best Wonderland-inspired outfit!
