Tours to climb Harbor Lighthouse with the Custom House Maritime Museum

Climb 116 steps inside New London's historic Harbor Light on a guided tour offered by the New London Maritime Society. This one-time event lets small groups explore one of the oldest lighthouses in the U.S. and the tallest on Long Island Sound. From the lantern room, enjoy spectacular views and spot numerous nearby lighthouses, a unique vantage recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. Reservations are required at least a day in advance, and visitors must be age 8 or older and wear appropriate footwear.
