« Thursdays on the Dock: Central City Stompers Thursdays on the Dock: Not Sorry » Thursdays on the Dock Bards of Gungywamp Thursday, July 23, 2026 5:30 – 7:30 pm Thursdays on the Dock has been a shoreline staple for 17 years and remains the premier destination for waterfront music.
Swing by each Thursday evening in July and August, bring a chair or blanket, listen to a free concert, and watch the sun go down over the river.
Bards of Gungywamp is a folk group from southeastern CT, whose music is a blend of Celtic, Bluegrass, Chanteys, Country, Cajun and Original music drawing on history and folk tales.
After playing together in different factions for many years, the members formed late one winter for a hometown St.
Patrick’s gig.
They have since commenced traveling the mountains and valleys of New England and beyond, bringing their tunes to Irish Pubs, Renn Faires, Festivals, Farm Markets, and more.
With sawing fiddle dance melodies and enchanting vocal harmonies, BOG is a group of true Bards, carrying on traditional songs from hundreds of years ago and bringing new stories to the table.
