The Checkmate Society - Chess Club for Grades 6 & Up
The 860 Life Take
The Checkmate Society meets monthly at Stonington Free Library’s lower level for chess players in grades 6 and up. This free club welcomes all skill levels to enjoy friendly games, learn strategies, and make new friends. The October 20 session runs from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, with parents or guardians asked to stay in the library during play. It’s a great way for young players to sharpen their skills in a relaxed community setting.
