Peter Bernstein/Ed Cherry Quartet

Two jazz guitar legends, Peter Bernstein and Ed Cherry, share the stage for an evening of masterful, swinging jazz at The Side Door in Old Lyme. Bernstein, praised by Jim Hall as "the most impressive guitarist I've heard," brings decades of experience alongside notable collaborators like Sonny Rollins and Brad Mehldau. Cherry, known for his work with Dizzy Gillespie and a distinctive melodic style, complements Bernstein perfectly. With bassist Gary Wang and drummer Joe Strasser rounding out the quartet, this rare pairing promises a rich, intimate jazz experience in a dedicated listening room inside the historic Old Lyme Inn.
