From the source

And I believed him) Blending storytelling and theater, spoken word and a bit of music, Mark Binder takes us on a journey into the joy of turning truth into lies, which – as the audience joins in – becomes reality for a moment, and might just change everything.

When I was a kid, I went to a summer camp where we had sing-alongs.

Sometimes in the barn.

Sometimes around the campfire.

Then one day, the kid next to me whacked me in the shoulder and said, “Shut up.

You can’t sing.” And I believed him.

Moving from story to story, truth to fabulation, Mark invites the audience to wonder…When does foolishness become wisdom?

Can reconciliation be as simple as a smile?

How do we let go of the “facts” we hold to be true in favor of something better?

Perhaps by creating amazing adventures for ourselves and our family, like heroes in epics…With each new story, possibilities emerge with opportunities for transformation… What if this was all there was?

What if this is all there is?

This is it.

Surrounded by people in relative comfort.

Not a bad place to be.
